Park Interpreter Meg Doppée will take you on a slow hike around Farmstead Loop Trail. We will look at the remnants of the 1840s farming community that once stood in the area and learn a little about its history. The hike is about 1.5 miles on varied terrain and should take us about 1.5 hours, as we will stop to discuss the park’s history. Please dress for the weather. Meet Ranger Meg at the Main parking lot near the pollinator garden.
About Virginia State Parks History and Culture Day
