Oct. 19, 2025. 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

In this fun and unique Autumn hike, you will explore the trails around Foster Falls with a local naturalist to learn about the beautiful changing leaves and how to identify trees by looking at the various characteristics that make them so unique.

This will be approximately a two-mile round-trip walk. The trail surface is crushed stone and a gentle grade. Leashed pets are welcome. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, dress for the weather, and bring plenty of water and snacks.

This program is weather dependent. Please check our event listing on the New River Trail website for cancellations.

Location: Please meet at the Caboose at Foster Falls.
