Come search for salamanders as they quest for vernal pools! Caledon State Park is home to a multitude of amphibian species, including the Spotted Salamander. In late winter when conditions are right, salamanders are on the move looking for the perfect place to lay their eggs. Take a wagon ride tour of the park as we discover what species of salamanders, frogs, and toads abound in our wetlands.

Meet inside the Visitor Center before we head out on the wagon. Dress for the weather and wear waterproof boots. Paid reservations are required as space is limited. Please call 540-663-3861 or stop by the Visitor Center to reserve your spot. Parking fee is $5.
