This historical building tour is designed to highlight the architecture of the time, designs, furnishings, special touches, ornate decor, and stories within the walls of the Jones-Stewart Mansion. The Jones-Stewart Mansion is a stunning example of an antebellum plantation house. The home offers a fascinating glimpse into the lives of two historic families that lived here at Chippokes.

Meet on the back porch of the Jones-Stewart Mansion (facing Mansion Gardens).

Please note: This is a historical building, and we hope to continue to share it for many more years, children should be close-by and with their adult counterparts at all times. Please be mindful and respectful, and stay with your interpretive tour guide. Tours will start at 10:00 a.m. and will be offered on the half-hour or as demand prompts.

Last tour of the day begins promptly at 2:30 p.m.
