To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, the Virginia Tech Department of History, Wilderness Road Regional Museum, and other history friends are collecting art from local students. If you have a student enrolled in kindergarten - 12th grade in the New River Valley (Floyd, Giles, Montgomery, Pulaski, & Radford City), send us their 2-D art, poetry, or short stories (max. 200 words) to be considered for our traveling exhibit built by VT students and faculty. This project is sponsored by Virginia Humanities.

Please meet us at the Christian Chimney and learn about its connections to the American
Revolution. Some craft supplies will be provided but feel free to bring your own.
