Come walk the park's bluebird trail with a Virginia Master Naturalist as she checks the nest boxes and records data for the Virginia Bluebird Society. Proper nest box design and mounting as well as the importance of regular monitoring will be discussed. Participants should have the opportunity to view eggs and/or nestlings as they learn about conservation efforts that have resulted in the comeback of the Eastern Bluebird.
No fee for this program.
