Just as caterpillars grow and change, our Caterpillar Club programs are designed to help your little one grow and change. Each week, we will have you and your child(ren) exploring our natural world through a variety of seasonally appropriate, hands-on activities that will foster children's inborn sense of wonder and curiosity. These experiences are gauged towards early childhood (3-5 years old), but of course, all family members are welcome and encouraged to participate. Every program supports Virginia's Blocks for Early Learning.

Please dress for the weather. We are meeting at Shelter 1. It is the shelter next to the playground by the Aquatics Complex.

June 6 - Black Bear Jamboree: Hey bear, woah bear. Learn more about the biggest mammal in the forest.
June 13 - Rodent Races: I smell a rat. Or maybe it's a beaver? A squirrel? Discover more about rodents and then meet two rascally rodents.
June 20 - Birds of Prey: Eagles and owl and osprey, oh my. Soar into the world of raptors.
June 27 - Mud Exploration: Get ready for some 'mud-tastic' mirth as we make mud. Be prepared to get messy.
