Belle Isle's Dark Sky-themed talks continue with speaker Bob Sutherland. As a member of the Shiloh School Astronomy Club, He asks “Do you struggle to find the North Star, the Big Dipper or Orion? In this star talk, we’ll cover the night sky using a few simple keys to unlock the stars you can see and use them to find some hidden gems in the night sky.”
The program will be held rain or shine. Following the presentation and weather permitting, the group will move outdoors for a “sky tour” of the stars and planets. Make sure to bring binoculars if you have them.
