Fish Printing

Location of Pocahontas State Park in Virginia

Where

Pocahontas State Park, 10301 State Park Rd., Chesterfield, VA 23832.
Visitor Center

When

April 2, 2024. 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Take part in the old tradition of fish printing. Investigate the exterior of our scaly friends and learn some identifying marks. Don't worry, you won't have to touch any real fish; we will use rubber stamps that look like fish. After you are done making these 'fin-tastic' creations at your own pace, try and see if you can spot some of the fish living in the Nature Center.

Please call (804) 796-4472 or email rebecca.whalen@dcr.virginia.gov for more information.
