Swift Creek Boat Launch

June 20, 2024. 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Paddling a kayak gives you a new perspective of the world and lifetime of adventures. This eight-hour class will cover the basics of paddling skills, including how to select and fit a PFD, picking out different types of kayaks, planning and safety, and proper paddling strokes. The class will be offered as a two-day evening class during the week.

All participants should bring lunch, snacks, plenty of water, sunscreen, and a change of clothing. Please wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes that you don't mind getting wet/muddy. We will provide all paddles, PFDs, and boats.
