Earth Day is a time of celebration and appreciation here at First Landing. Over the course of two weekends, join the Rangers for some fun while learning about how we all can do our part to take care of our planet. Each day will feature a particular theme in environmental conservation. Join us by participating in programs, checking out our community partner tables, and completing self-guided activities. Come back each day to learn new ways to love our planet!

4/27 - The Wonderful World of Watersheds

2:00pm - Testing the Waters: Join Rangers to see what's up with the water at First Landing. In this program we will play chemist as we compare the properties of water found all around the park and endeavor to understand the health implications these samples have on wildlife.

4:00pm - Stewardship Beach Walk and Cleanup: Head out for a beach combing walk like no other. A Ranger will lead you down the shore as we discuss the biodiversity of the Bay and our role in protecting it. We'll also be shining the spotlight on the 5-Minute Foundation and the new stewardship initiatives at FLSP. Small birds run from an incoming wave on the Bay Shoreline.
