Have you ever bumped into one of our tall bark-covered residents and wondered who it is you've just run into? Come on a walk to get a formal introduction. Led by a local tree expert, naturalist, and humorous story teller, this program is an introduction to the fascinating and whimsical world of tree identification. You're likely to learn new things and laugh along the way.
The walk will be at a slow pace and takes approximately 1.5 hours with frequent stopping. The trail is flat and easy and passes by many of the native trees found in central Virginia. Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes, bring plenty of water and your own curiosity!
