Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

Make a difference this Earth Day weekend by donating your plastic to Natural Bridge State Park. This Earth Day the goal is to reduce plastics going to the landfill. Save your plastic film and donate it to the park's recycling program. While you're here, discover all the other things you can recycle at home!
Rangers and volunteers will be on hand all weekend to take donations of plastic grocery bags, plastic wrap, bubble wrap, packaging wrap, and other plastics labeled #2 or #4 recycling. Get a behind-the-scenes look at how Natural Bridge State Park promotes sustainability and see our recycling program in action. You might even get an idea of how to implement some of our tips and tricks for your own household.
