Picnic Area

When

May 18, 2024. 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Kids to Parks Day at First Landing is a time for fun and exploration in your local slice of nature. Join children across the nation for a day of activities geared toward getting our next generation of environmental stewards out of doors.

Head out on the trails for a Ranger-guided hike, meet up for a campfire and s'mores, and stop by one of our community partner and volunteer tables along the way. The whole day is designed for family-friendly fun in the great outdoors.

Events will be held periodically throughout the day and based at the Picnic Area. There are picnic tables, restrooms, and a playground on site, so families are encouraged to spend the day. Prepare for the weather, wear durable shoes, and get ready to play outside!
