Have you seen the Bluebird boxes at Sweet Run State Park? Have you ever wondered who lives in them and why they are there? Sweet Run has many of these boxes all over the park, and we have volunteers who check on them regularly. Find out more about what volunteers do regarding these nesting boxes. Meet Master Naturalist, Anne Ellis, at the Interpretive Center. She will explain what she and other volunteers are looking for on their routine to check the blue bird boxes. The boxes are owned and maintained by Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy and the volunteers are highly trained to monitor them.
