Do you know the significance behind musical instruments during battle? Come and join us at Sailors Creek Battlefield on July 27th from 12-1 p.m. and learn why drums along with other musical instruments played such an important role during the American Civil War. We will have a short presentation that will dive into the history of music and the different instruments used during the period. After, we will have a small activity set up for children (or adults, if you choose too) where they can make their own War Drum.
