Did you know there was once a thriving "boom town" located where our lake is today? This ranger-led program explores the missing town and its rowdy residents. Discover how moonshining put the boom in "boom town!"

The presentation will be followed by a guided hike on our Iron Mine and Upper Stuart's Knob Trails. This trail system is about two miles, and has steep portions, but offers spectacular views of Fairy Stone Lake.
