Did you know that your yard might be infested with invasive plant species?

Don't fret! Attend our invasive species workshop to find out how to identify common invasive species in Virginia and how you can safely remove them! Don't wait till summer to start managing your yard! 

This program is free of charge, but standard parking fees apply. Please meet at the visitor center at least 10 minutes before the start time. We are offering this program at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024. The sessions are identical, and each one will last one hour. 

Space is limited. If you plan on attending or have any questions, please email our park interpreter at samantha.house@dcr.virginia.gov.
