Illumination of the Bridge

Location of Natural Bridge State Park in Virginia

Where

Natural Bridge State Park, 6477 South Lee Highway, Natural Bridge, VA 24578.
Cedar Creek Trail

When

May 25, 2024. 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

A nearly century-long tradition continues as the Natural Bridge is bathed in light the last Saturday night of every month, April through October. Experience the 200-foot-tall arch as it is lit from above and below by dozens of lights, with the only sound being the murmuring of Cedar Creek running below. A tribute to the first light program at the Bridge conducted in 1927, come see for yourself the sight that has drawn people out to the park at night for over 97 years, time and time again.

The visitor center will be open until 9 p.m. and the trail until 10 p.m., with light snacks for sale. Ticket sales will end at 9:40 p.m. The trail beyond the Natural Bridge will be closed. For any questions, please call the visitor center at (540) 291-1326.
