Enjoy a cool fall evening with a short, moderate hike to the highest point in the park, Little Pinnacle, to witness one of the most stunning sunsets in Virginia. This mile long round-trip hike showcases the unique ecology of the park, a 'magic tree,' and stunning long-range views. On the walk back we may hear some of the nocturnal animals that reside in the park such as the Barred Owl.

Dress warmly as the temperature is usually cooler than you expect, and the overlook can be very breezy. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp for the walk back.
