Enjoy a summer evening with a short, moderate hike to the highest point in the park, Little Pinnacle, to witness one of the most stunning sunsets in Virginia. This mile long round-trip hike showcases the unique ecology of the park, a 'magic tree,' and stunning long-range views. On the walk back we may hear some of the nocturnal animals that reside in the park such as the Barred Owl.

Pack a layer as the temperature is usually cooler than you expect, and the overlook can be very breezy. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp for the walk back.
