The Archery Range opens for the season daily from 8 a.m. until dusk. The range is composed of 10 shooting lanes, each with a 3D and/or mesh target at an average length of 25 yards. There is also a 40-yard sight-in target. The daily fees are $3 for ages 3-15 and $5 for those 16 and older. Fees may be paid in cash at the range or with cash, check, or credit card at the park office. The park-wide parking fee also applies.

For those without their own equipment, archery gear kits are available at the park office until 11:30 a.m. on a four-hour basis, first come, first serve.

New to the sport? The park regularly offers basis archery classes for those 8 years and older. Please see the separate basic archery listing in the park events list. Rather not shoot alone? For those 18 years old and up, there is the Bear Creek Lake Archery Club which meets most Sundays from mid-March until December. The 90-minute sessions for beginner and intermediate archers includes shooting and instruction time as well as fun archery games.
