Caring for Cast Iron Workshop

During this workshop, participants will learn about the history and evolution of cast iron cookware. There will be discussions about the techniques for cooking, cleaning, seasoning, and storing your cast iron cookware. Participants will learn about the science behind dispelling some common myths about cast iron cookware.

Those who attend this workshop will learn multiple methods to create their own seasoning and make a small sample of seasoning to take home with them. Participants will learn how to make their own one-of-a-kind custom potholder as well.
