On September 23rd, all of our Virginia State Parks will celebrate National Public Lands Day with all of the public lands across the country. Virginia has also declared that day Virginia Public Lands Day. We open our parks that day as a free parking day and offer special programming, including volunteer events across the parks.
How do you celebrate National Public Lands Day? Holliday Lake State Park is a perfect place to feel good about doing some environmental stewardship! Why not bring some friends and/or family and join other volunteers in helping to keep Virginia State Parks beautiful. Many volunteer opportunities throughout the park are available.
