Come experience the beautiful James River on this ranger-guided paddle tour. The trip includes a brief overview of paddling safety and techniques, as well as on-the-water interpretations of natural and cultural features. Please bring a lunch; we'll find a place to eat, either in our boats or on a sandbar. All boating equipment and personal flotation devices will be provided.

Participant Expectations
- Bring a lunch or snacks, plenty of water, and sunscreen.
- Wear close-toed shoes and comfortable clothes that can get wet or muddy.
- Children must be at least 6 years old and accompanied by an adult in their canoe.
