The Rangers invite you to hike through the tidal marsh, a vital and often overlooked ecosystem. This 2-mile-long hike will take you through the marsh as we observe spring wildlife, plants, and learn about why marshes are so important. Please be prepared to walk across sandy, possibly uneven terrain. Closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellent are recommended. Meet at the Narrows beach kiosk at our 64th street entrance into the park.
