We will start this program with the Occoneechee fire building challenge. Can you build a fire with only one match and natural materials to create the perfect heat we need to cook a meal? Once the fire is ready, we’ll cook a classic campfire delight, “pigs in a blanket”, served with chips and s’mores for dessert. Please bring your own beverages. We will finish the evening with some campfire stories, come prepared with your favorite story to share by the fire.
The Posseclay Interpretive Shelter located beyond the playground near picnic shelters #1 & #2.
