Come experience the beautiful James River on this ranger-guided paddle tour. The trip includes a brief overview of paddling safety and techniques, as well as on-the-water interpretations of natural and cultural features. All boating equipment and personal flotation devices will be provided.

Participant Expectations
- Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and a snack.
- Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting wet or muddy.
- Close-toed shoes are required at all times; sandals or flip-flops are not allowed.
- Flotation Vests must be worn and properly fastened at all times within 15 feet of the river.
- Children must be at least 6 years old and accompanied by an adult in their canoe.
