Explore the mighty James River with your very own interpretive guide!
Enjoy an interpretive float by canoe along the James River. The interpretive guide will hit on topics such as the history of the river, its aquatic inhabitants, and the local flora and fauna that call it home. Meet at Canoe Landing and be transported to the Bent Creek boat launch where you will paddle a long, yet gentle six-mile trip. Space is limited to ten people per trip so please sign up early. The cost is $30 per participant.
