Explore the mighty James River with your very own interpretive guide!

Enjoy an interpretive float by canoe along the James River. The interpretive guide will hit on topics such as the history of the river, its aquatic inhabitants, and the local flora and fauna that call it home. Meet at the Dixon Landing Boat Ramp where you will be transported to Canoe Landing and float an easy two miles downstream back to Dixon Landing. Space is limited to ten people per trip so please sign up early. The cost is $20 per participant.
