Millions of years ago, Virginia was covered in a shallow sea that was teeming with life, leaving behind prolific fossil beds. We'll ride down to the beach and paddle upriver in search of shark teeth. Be sure to wear close-toed shoes and clothes that can get wet. Must be 16+ for solo kayak and 8+ (accompanied by an adult) for tandem kayak. Reservations are required as space is limited. Call 540-663-3861 or stop by the Visitor Center to reserve your kayak. Parking fee is $5.
