Gather around the fire with your fellow campers for s'mores and discovery...we will learn all about the amazing and ancient world of rocks.

This is a hands-on rocking experience. You'll learn how to recognize rocks commonly found in Virginia, how to determine the hardness of different rocks, and discover the difference between a rock, a mineral, a gem, an ore, and a metal.
