Enjoy an evening paddle on the Potomac under the "Strawberry" full moon, named for its connection to harvesting season by Native Americans who knew it as a signal to gather the ripening fruit of wild strawberries. As dusk is an active time of day, there's a good chance to see and hear wildlife as they search for food and friends along our shore. Don't miss the sweetest full moon of the year! 

$19 for a solo kayak, $25 for a tandem kayak. Wear clothes that can get wet and close-toed shoes. Must be 16+ for a solo kayak and 8+ (accompanied by an adult) for tandem kayak. Call for reservations at 540-663-3861 or stop by the Visitor Center to reserve your spot.
