Have you ever heard of a pawpaw? Join us for a walk into Seven Bend's pawpaw patch to learn how to identify and forage this tasty native fruit! Jack Monsted, the native plant expert from the State Arboretum of Virginia will lead this walk and share information about the pawpaw tree's biology, ecology, and various culinary uses. He will also demonstrate sustainable wild-harvesting methods so you can enjoy Virginia's largest (and tastiest) native fruit yourself!

All Virginia State Park regulations will be adhered to during this program.

Every vehicle is required to display an annual or daily Virginia State Park parking pass. Either pass is available for purchase as you enter the park.
