Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

Spring Peeper Plunge & Family Fun Day

Join us for an event hosted by the Friends of Holliday Lake State Park. This dedicated group of volunteers will be available to answer questions and conducted activities for visitors that showcase this wonderful park. Stick around for the new Spring Peeper Plunge fundraiser in which participants will take a quick dunk into the cold waters of Holliday Lake. See the schedule below for details: 

10 AM - 2 PM: Friends of HLSP information table at Shelter #2, kid's activities, crafts, frog photo op.
11 AM: Spring Peeper Plunge
11 AM - 1:30 PM: Food vendors
12 PM & 1 PM: Guided trail hike; meet near Shelter #1.
