Come by the program area next to the Riverbend Campground to pick up an Arks for Parks adventure pack. These exploratory hands-on activities for school-aged children come in backpacks and plastic tubs that can be checked out for the day or overnight for families that are camping.

The packs are free to check out! A staff member will coach and guide the entire family on how to use the materials and equipment. The pack's activities focus on Virginia's wildlife and natural environment. Topics include: amphibians and reptiles, birds, global cycles, food webs, insects, mammals, rocks, trees, weather, and new this year...wolves!
