Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

Calling all young anglers; kids 12 and younger get free admission and can fish for free during this annual event. Cedar Creek, which runs under the Natural Bridge, will be stocked with rainbow trout. Kids 12 and under get to keep up to six fish, and staff and volunteers will be on hand to help teach you how to fish or do a craft program.

Guests must bring their own pole, bait, and gear. Children can catch and keep up to six fish per child. No adults are allowed to fish, but there must be at least one paying adult with participating children. Children 12 years and younger receive free admission from 9 a.m. to noon. After 12 p.m., children's tickets resume their normal rate at $6/child. Adults (13 and older) pay regular admission price all day.
