The Melungeon Bus Tour,will explore the often maligned and misunderstood group of people commonly called “Melungeons”. Participants will take a ride into the past with regional historian Wayne Winkler and discover a fascinating topic in regional history that offers a close view of areas important to the Melungeon population in Southwest Virginia.
Participants are required to bring their own lunch.
Seating is limited, so registration is required. Registration and payment deadline is Friday, June 9.
