First Day of Spring Guided Sunrise Bike Ride

March 20, 2023. 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

Witness the first sunrise of spring on historic High Bridge! A ranger will meet you on High Bridge Trail in sight of Main Street in downtown Farmville for this guided bike ride. The ride will be approximately a 10 mile round trip. Make sure you arrive early because our journey begins at 6:15 a.m.! Bring your own bicycle. Rental bicycles from the Outdoor Adventure Store will not be available at start time. It will still be dark when we start, so a bike light or headlamp is necessary. We currently do not have potable water at the park, so please come with a full water bottle. Last, but not least, make sure you have plenty of photo storage on your phone so that you can take pictures of the beautiful sunrise.
