The waterfowl have landed. Winter has set in and so have the migrating birds. Stop by the visitor center to get an up close look of the taxidermy waterfowl and learn about their long journey from the arctic and Canada to Northern Virginia. Afterwards take a short hike with a ranger down to the river to identify some ducks, geese, swans and other waterfowl.
