Kick off the new year in a cool way – a plunge into Bear Creek Lake. Line up on the beach by 2 p.m. on January 1, 2023. When the whistle blows, all participants will plunge into the lake just for the bragging rights. Once back on the beach they can warm up around the bonfire. There is no registration required and no fee to enter. Swimming in Bear Creek Lake is available all year round at the swimmer’s own risk and only in the designated swim area at the beach. Parking is free on January 1, 2023.
