Come one, come all, and get crafty! Celebrate the holidays by visiting Chippokes State Park on December the 17th during our annual Holiday Open House. This event is guaranteed fun for the whole family.

There will be a special holiday ornament making workshop occurring from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. There will be three different types of ornaments being made during the workshop:

1. Bead ornaments: choose between snowflake or ornament shaped disk, choose paper for spool, choose beads for a third ornament.

2. Wreaths: choose between yarn or fabric to wrap a canning jar lid ring.

3. Bells: use crayons to add designs to tiny clay flower pots then insert clapper.

Everyone will be given a paper bag to carry home their ornament creations.
