Ever wonder how trees can be identified in winter months? Come along on a ranger-led walk in the woods to find out. We will look at five common species of trees, and how they can be identified through characteristics other than leaf shape. We will journey through moderate terrain with some short inclines. Occasional roots on the trail may make passage difficult for those with baby strollers. An alternative stationary "Tree Tips" program will also be offered at 12:30 p.m. for those with mobility concerns.
