What's a camping trip without a campfire? Join us, weather permitting, for an hour of relaxing stories & meet your camping neighbors. Learn the history of Smith Mountain Lake and how the state park got its start. This is a great way for the family to wind down after a busy day and of course, there will be marshmallows to roast. Free

If weather is unsuitable, the campfire will be held at the Discovery Center under the Pavilion.
