Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

Join us on a guided canoe trip to the spillway through Fairystone Lake. While paddling, you will find out the history of Fairy Stone and how the Civilian Conservation Corps built everything you see around you, including the lake.

Cost: $15 per canoe rental or $5 to bring your own boat. Life jackets are required

Registration required. Register in person at Fairy Stone Mercantile prior to event.

Guests with reservations should arrive 10 minutes early. Not all trips sell out, so those interested should visit the Fairy Stone Mercantile at least 15 minutes prior to see if slots are available.

Maximum participation: 6 boats (3-4 per canoe depending on size of individuals)

Ages 4 and up. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
