Explore our interactive "Base Camp" Discovery Center!

This center is home to wide variety of interesting nature education displays and activities, including a digital sand table where you can learn about watersheds and runoff, become a detective as you guess animal species from their pelts and bones, and meet beautiful Betty, our Eastern Black Rat Snake. Pick up trail guides, a Rockbridge Ranger booklet, and more as you continue to explore the land of Natural Bridge State Park. A ranger or park volunteer will be at Base Camp to help answer all your questions and teach you about the nature of Natural Bridge.

The Base Camp is located in the visitor center on the basement floor. It's open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., and on holiday Mondays.
