Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

 A beloved holiday tradition, the Festival of Trees celebrates its 27th year. Get yourself in the mood for the holidays as you enjoy beautifully decorated trees, mantels, banisters and doorways. Each tree is decorated by volunteers representing families, churches, schools, businesses and civic groups around the region. Step into a lovely, enchanting atmosphere of community and holiday spirit.

Museum hours are: Tuesday-Friday: 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Saturday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. & Sunday: 1-5 p.m.

Regular admission rates apply. Adults: $5 Children: 6-12 $3 Under 6 free. Group rates are available.
