Swift Creek Boat Launch

June 7, 2022. 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Join us for a wee bit of fun on Swift Creek Lake. This paddle program is made especially for our smallest park visitors, between the ages of 2 and 5 years old. The trip includes a brief overview of canoe safety and techniques so you and your little one can get out on the water with a ranger. All equipment will be provided.

Canoes are limited and attendees must register in advance at the park office or by calling (804) 796-4255. The $10 participant fee may be paid upon registration via cash, check, or credit card. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early and remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen. Wear close-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty and/or wet.
