Join Rangers for an all day beach celebration to kick off the summer. Look for the tent at the end of the Main Boardwalk for crafts, games, a touch table, and more!

10:00 am - 4:00 pm Bay Lab Open: Come visit our one-of-a-kind science lab featuring critters from the Chesapeake Bay. Check out our fish tanks, water testing station, microscopes, topographic sandbox, and more. The Bay Lab is located inside the Main Office on the beach side of the park.

11:00 am - What's in the Nets? Join us for a wet and wild exploration of the animals living under the water and amidst the salt marshes at First Landing State Park. Learn to use a seine net, hand dip net, and how to identify some local marine plants and animals.
