Interested is trying out a kayak but don't want to paddle alone? Then this program is for you. Your guide will provide instruction on kayak skills and safety and then lead a short tour of the lake. Sit-on-top kayaks will be used which are not as restrictive as sit-in kayaks. These are solo kayaks that only hold one person. There are a limited number of kayaks available, so registration in advance through the park office is required. The fee is only $5 per person, and all needed equipment is provided. Persons younger than 12 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
