Did you know birds don't live in bird houses? They're better referred to as bird nesting boxes, which are like nurseries for birds. If you'd like to support the parents of baby bluebirds, stop by the picnic tables behind the concession stand to pick up and/or assemble your very own bluebird box building kit. Your $10 cash donation will help cover the cost of the materials and will support the Friends of Twin Lakes State Park, an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to helping Twin Lakes State Park.
